The Fentress County Children's Center, a child advocacy center, is dedicated to providing a coordinated interagency, multi-disciplinary team approach to child physical and sexual abuse and address the legal, medical, and mental health needs of the child and non-offending family members within a less traumatizing environment than was previously available. These essential and crucial services are provided in a home like, child friendly, atmosphere designed to reduce the trauma and stress of the child victim. The center further strives to prevent the physical and sexual abuse of children through the implementation of innovative and creative education programs for children and adults.
